Celebrating The Big 5!

July 2021 marks the fifth year of Hello Marilu and what a journey it has been. We have put together a compilation of some of our highlights over the years. Thank you so much for being a part of our journey. Your support means everything!

2016 Highlights

Launched our first collection of screen prints, baubles and plant pots. Gold and neon was our clear colour palette!

Took part in our first series of Christmas Markets - launching at Renegade!

We taught our first Bauble workshop for the Etsy Christmas Press Event, and continued teaching at both West Elm & Anthropologie.

We collaborated with Matilda the Musical to design a range of baubles inspired by the show.

2017 Highlights

Launched our Paint a Planter workshop and which we taught at Smug Lifestyle Store.

Collaborated with many brands for Christmas events including Pandora, Campari, and American Express.

Began working with Fortnum & Mason as their Personalised Bauble Designer.

Taught Introduction to Screen Printing Workshops at my Studio.

2018 Highlights

Launched our Splatter Plant Pot range - one of our best selling collections!

Continued to work with Fortnum & Mason for both the Easter and Christmas season.

Pebble the cat joined the studio!

Shortlisted for a Mollie Makes Award and featured a DIY in their magazine.

Took part in my first Green Rooms x RHS Plant Market.

Started collaborating with luxury beauty brand Kiehl's.

2019 Highlights

Exhibited at the London Illustration Fair.

Worked with a number of clients for various events including Van Cleefe & Arpels, George at Asda, Very, and New Look.

My final year working with Fortnum & Mason for their Christmas season.

Continued to work with Kiehl's for their Mothers Day and Christmas events.

Taught Paint a Planter and Bauble workshops with Anthropologie.

2020 - 2021 Highlights

Our business survived the pandemic thanks to all of your amazing support!

We had our highest number of online yearly sales since we launched.

We weren't able to do many live events or markets but we did take part in some online markets instead.

We started working with Jesmonite and plan to launch a new collection very soon.

We worked with Kiehls for Earth Day at Selfridges.

It's been great to take some time to reflect on the many things we have achieved over the years. In someways it feels as though it has gone by in a flash, and it can be easy to forget these moments as they pass you by. The past couple of years have been very challenging as the world has battled through the pandemic, but as things are slowly starting to improve we are feeling excited for the future and what's to come next. Thank you so much for being part of our journey, your support really means the world to us. Heres to the next 5 years!!
